Horny Goat Weed Powder—Native to China and used in their health traditions for about 2,000 years, Horny Goat Weed is mentioned as an aphrodisiac in ancient Chinese legends. That includes the story of the goat herder who noticed unusual behavior in his flock after they ate the plant—hence the herb’s name. Today’s Chinese practitioners still widely respect and recommend this herb for promoting men's health function.*
Catuaba Bark Powder—Likely used for centuries by indigenous people of the Brazilian Amazon, who chew the bark as an energy-promoter while hunting in the rain forest. Peruvian Maca Root Extract—For over 2,000 years, indigenous Peruvians have utilized Maca root as a dietary staple. It is a source of amino acids and protein. It also contains plant sterols, tannins and saponin. Its energy-promoting and men's health function benefits may come from the mix of core nutrition and antioxidant phytochemicals.*
Saw Palmetto Berry Extract—European researchers first documented saw palmetto use among the Seminoles of Florida in the mid to late 1800s. Traditional use likely had roots centuries prior to that. Muira Puama Bark Powder—Likely used for centuries by the people of the Rio Negro region of Brazil. The indigenous name “muira puama” means “potency wood.” The bark and root have been used both to support a healthy immune system and to promote men's health function, along with heightened skin sensitivity and desire. Today’s research looks at how muira puama may promote blood flow in the pelvic area and, when used long term, promotes hormonal balance.*

It is mentioned in the teachings of the rishi (sage) Punarvasu Atreya and described in sacred Ayurvedic texts. Ashwagandha is cultivated in drier regions of India, Nepal, and China, and it has been used historically as a health-promoting herbal in Africa as well. The berries and leaves have been used in topical applications for dermal health, while root extracts have been recommended for supporting a healthy immune system, healthy energy levels, and a balanced response to stress.*

Its method of action is not known, but it does contain certain phytochemicals (pinenes, sterols, and tannins) that may synergetically promote healthy blood flow and oxygen supply to the skin.*
